Simple activities to get you started

Not sure where to start your 30 Days Wild adventure? Here are some simple suggestions to try. They all take just a few minutes but will help you to mindfully connect to nature.

  1. Walk barefoot on the grass and focus on how the grass feels under your feet
  2. Hug a tree
  3. Listen to birdsong
  4. Smell a flower
  5. Watch a bumblebee travelling from flower to flower
  6. Drink your morning cuppa outside, enjoying the fresh air
  7. Spend 5 minutes watching the clouds. Can you see any shapes in them?
  8. Plant some pollinator-friendly seeds
  9. Try a 5 minute bioblitz in your garden. See how many insects you can find
  10. Take a photo of nature. It will encourage you to look closer!

Our weekly themes

You can use our weekly themes to help plan your month of wild adventures. These are just suggestions, so feel free to approach your wild month in a way that suits you. That might be an activity a day, or one a week; it could mean moving through the weekly themes or just sticking to one. It’s totally up to you!

To help you through your challenge, we’ll be sending you daily emails full of information and activities, so if you get stuck for inspiration keep a look out for those!

Week one: Help wildlife where you live

Kick-off 30 Days Wild by choosing activities that help wildlife.
