General Terms and Conditions
- The promoter is: The Wildlife Trusts whose registered office is at Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts, The Kiln, Mather Rd, Newark NG24 1WT
- The competition is open to anyone other than those connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter will be via facebook.com/wildlifetrusts, Instagram.com/thewildlifetrusts, twitter.com/WildlifeTrusts or via an e-newsletter or email depending on the competition
- Only one entry will be accepted per person.
- For photo competitions entrant's images may be shared from Wildlife Trust accounts. Names will also be credited.
- Closing date for entry will be stated on the post. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of anything outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- Winners will be chosen by The Wildlife Trusts either at random by software, from all entries received or by an independent adjudicator or panel of judges appointed by The Wildlife Trusts depending on the nature of the competition.
- The winner will be notified by email /DM on Twitter/Facebook or Instagram within 28 days of the closing date depending on which platform the competition is hosted on. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

- Entries to the competition must not contain or comprise items, text or images which are in any way obscene, defamatory, libellous, discriminatory, hateful or violent (including inciting hatred or violence), unlawful in any way (including breaching the copyright or other rights of any third party), or otherwise offensive, upsetting or objectionable in any way. Entries should also not contain any pictures or videos of the person submitting the entry.

The competition is to win a bundle prize containing the following Conway books: one (1) The Hillwalking Bible by Ronald Turnbull, one (1) Short Walks to Curious Places by Roly Smith, one (1) Finding Your Feet by Rhiane Fatinikun. The prize includes free postage.

The competition opens at 9am GMT on Friday 25th October 2024 and closes at 12pm GMT on Friday 1st November 2024. Entries received outside of these times will not be accepted.

To enter, entrants must sign up to the Nature Newsletter mailing list by the closing date.
- The winner's details will be shared with Bloomsbury Publishing Plc. only for the purpose of posting the prize out to the winner. The winner's permission will be sought prior to sharing these details.
- This competition is open to those residing in the United Kingdom.
